Hi, I'm Hayley!
I received my BA in Visual Storytelling & Design from Juniata College with distinction & honors and an AA in Visual Arts from Columbia Basin College. I went on to earn a certificate in 2D Character Animation from Gobelins L’ecole de L’image and after my 2D Animation & Design internship with Deep Sky, I stayed on as a contract illustrator on some really cool projects.
I balance that with personal work where I like to explore feelings of nostalgia and mixing whimsy and mystery. I'm drawn to cool tones and like to explore line work and texture to add a handmade feel. My passion extends to various mediums and styles and I'm interested in working on documentaries, short films, features, commercials, and music videos.
When I'm not drawing, you can find me reading on my balcony, sipping coffee at a local cafe, or studying Japanese. For an overview of my professional journey, feel free to peruse my resume.
