Observation plays a key role in my creative process. I am drawn to everyday settings where characters encounter magic. My work blends storytelling and illustration to uncover wonder within the everyday, inviting viewers to pause, look closer, and rediscover a sense of play and possibility. As I develop a more personal body of work, I continue to explore new mediums and visual languages that best give shape to my stories.

My medium of choice is watercolor and gouache but I find myself experimenting with both dry and wet media to explore expression and textures.

I am an illustrator and artist with a BA in Visual Storytelling & Design and an AA in Visual Arts. I earned a certificate in 2D Character Animation from Gobelins L'Ecole de L’Image and began my career as a freelance illustrator, collaborating with a range of clients, big and small. In the last five years, I have worked professionally in animation and graphic design, and I am the founder of Quiet Perch Creative, an illustration and design agency selling my creative services & paper goodies.

Quiet Perch is rooted in a love of witnessing nature’s magic, quiet reflection, and honest creativity. I’m inspired by adventure, wandering, and change, but equally by the quiet moments hidden within them.
