About Me.
About My Work.
My work is rooted in a love of witnessing nature’s magic and quietly observing the subtle changes in the seasons. I’m deeply inspired by adventure, wandering, and transformation, but equally by the quiet moments hidden within them. Quiet observation therefore plays a key role in my creative process.
I am drawn to everyday settings where characters encounter moments of magic, metamorphosis, or wonder. I hope my work invites you in: to pause, look closer, and rediscover a sense of play and possibility.
Hi I’m Hayley! I’m an illustrator and artist based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
I have a BA in Visual Storytelling & Design and an AA in Visual Arts. I earned a certificate in 2D Character Animation from Gobelins L'Ecole de L’Image and began my career as a freelance illustrator, collaborating with a range of fun clients. In the last five years, I have worked professionally in animation and graphic design collaborating on documentaries, short films, and rebranding projects.
I am the founder of Quiet Perch, an illustration and design agency selling my creative services & paper goods. This name embodies my appreciation of quiet spaces in nature where observation is more important than noise.
I’m currently a studio artist at The Open Arts Center in Bend, Oregon.
